Piper's Here!!!!!

Piper Thompson came rushing into our family at 7:21 pm on Tuesday, August 26th, 2008. She was 7 lbs 7 oz and 19 inches long. We barely made it to the hospital in time. We left our house at 6:30, and 40 minutes later I was holding her. We're going to need to figure out a better system because giving birth without anesthetic is no fun!

We don't know where all her hair comes from. Kadon and Kyrie were baldys for the first year and a half. Piper will be easy to pick out in our family albums.

Kyrie wasn't too sure of Piper at first, but after a couple minutes she wanted to "hold this." Kyrie alternates between calling her sister Baby Piper, Baby Diaper, and This.

Kadon was nervous at first, but now I can bribe him to do anything by promising him a chance to hold Piper.

First Day of School

Kadon's all ready for second grade. Nate buzzed his hair the night before and Kadon was concerned all the kids would tease him. He told anyone who commented on it that he was in disguise.

Mr. Joe Cool

Back to School Party

Kadon argued the semantics of our party, since no one else was invited. He looks pretty excited, doesn't he.

He got a calculator, which he used on the second day of school when he should have been getting dressed. When I hadn't heard any getting ready sounds from his room, I called him in. He came, still in his pjs with his calculator, stating, "Moo-oom, I'm doing math so I don't get behind."

The scissors put a smile on his face. Now his room is coved in paper clippings from his art projects, which are all done after he has been put to bed.

Kyrie needed to have her picture taken too.

Stiches

Kyrie was jumping on the couch and hit the DVD cabinent. She had to get 9 stitches. She was a real trooper at the ER. Now we get to hope she tones down her wildness, but I have a feeling we will be stitching her up again.

Batter Up!

Kadon liked the hitting and running bases, but outfield was BORING!

So he decided to entertain himself.

Grrrrr---Computers

So I went to update our address book on the computer to get ready to send out baby announcements, when I found out it was corrupted and I had lost everything. I've found a lot of addresses already, but if I missing anyone that wants to be on our Christmas list and baby announcement list, email me with your address. lachellethompson@gmail.com

Camp Beaver

Kadon, #126, and Kyrie, #166, playing in the river. Too bad Piper's number won't end in a 6
Kyrie digging in the dirt. She loved collecting rocks. Every night we came home with 2 or 3.

River time.

Playing at Pine View Reservoir

Kyrie and Jack exploring Pine View with Robbyn.

Kadon wasn't too sure of the jet skis, but he loved the canoe.
