It's a Girl

Unfortunatly the ultrasound pictures were fuzzy and too dark. But just take my word that this one looks just like all my others. Round head, up turned nose, etc.

FHE GH3

Our activity for Family Night last week was Guitar Hero 3.

It was supposed to be just Kadon and Nate, but Kyrie was having none of that. She quickly pushed her way in.

At first Kyrie want to be the Boss of Everything. Nate finally got her to just strum while he pressed the buttons.

Pretty soon she had found her groove. She actually got more note right than Kadon.

Kadon was in heaven. It was his favorite FHE activity so far.

Easter 2008

The Easter Bunny hid Kadon's basket in the oven.

Salt Lake

Lachelle's mom came for a visit in March. Kadon had a day off school, so we went to Salt Lake. We toured the Church History Museum, Temple Square, and lunched at the Gateway Mall.

Kadon said his favorite part was getting gold coins (Deseret Money sold at the gift shop) and the talking Jesus (The Christus statue and the recording the went along with it).

Kyrie Turns 2

Kyrie loved opening presents. Kadon was almost as excited as she was.

Christopher Columbus

Kadon's school did a music production with each grade singing about a famous person from American history. Kadon's grade sang about Christopher Columbus. Kadon is trying to find me in an audience of a couple hundred.







Kadon spent the song frowning, occasionally doing the actions, and trying to watch the slide show on the projection screen above them.

Crazy Hair

Kyrie let me put her hair in pigtails for the first time. Unfortunately her hair wasn't quite long enough and it came down in back. Then she took a nap and flattened it straight out to the sides. After we took out her pigtails she had a halo of hair.

She had a blast "scarying" Nate with her crazy hair.

Christmas 2007

We spent Christmas with Lachelle's family in Washington. Kyrie got a baby and stroller from Santa. At the time she wasn't too sure of it, but now Baby goes everywhere with her.

Kadon got a Pirates of the Carribean ship from Santa. He has had a blast playing with it.

Kyrie also got a stuffed puppy from Grandma Packard. But she loved the candy in her stocking more than any present.

Kadon also got tons of army guys with full battle gear. Kevin and Jason were quite jealous. He has staged many battles between the Pirates and the army guys.

Christmas in Our New House

We love having a fireplace again. Kadon helped me set up our Christmas decorations.

Fun Times in November

Kadon and Lachelle went to a BYU football game and had seats on the 5th row. We had a blast watching the players up close.

Kadon looking snazzy after church one Sunday. I tried to get Kyrie in the picture, but she's behind me having a meltdown. 1:00 Church was so hard on her.

Trick or Treat

Kyrie was a lady bug for Halloween. Her pigtail "antennae" are my favorite.

Kadon's class put on a Halloween production with songs, plays, and readers theater.

Kadon fell asleep during his after school snack. I couldn't talk him into laying down.

Kyrie quickly picked up the hang of trick or treating. Kadon called it quits before she did.

The Pumpkin Patch

On the way! Tom's a little grouchy because Kadon kept him up late when he and Danny spent the night.










The whole gang--all the relatives that live within a 3 block area--pose by the gianormous pumpkins. This pumpkin patch was pretty cool. It had a small corn maze that the kids could do, tons of photo boards, a couple of "play houses," and some inflatable slides and bounce houses. The kids had a blast!

We split up pumpkins-boys vs. girls. Both Nate and I were feeling pretty lazy, so the pumpkins aren't too fancy. Kyrie's sitting my hers and Kadon's sitting by his.
